What Does it Take to Lose 30 Pounds?
Are you interested in being able to lose 30 pounds? Well, it will definitely take some dedication and some changes when it comes to your diet and your exercise, but it is possible and I am going to walk you through some of the things you’ll need to focus on in order to achieve your goal. The first thing that you should do is to take a picture of yourself. You’ll want to take a front picture and a side picture so that when you’ve reached your goal you can take similar pictures and notice the difference.
The first thing you need to control is your nutrition. Focusing on eating smaller portions will be best. Then, you’ll want to eat 6 times a day, 3 meals and 3 snacks, that way you can keep your body in a state of metabolism so that your body will be continually burning fat and processing the food that you eat in the proper manner. You will also want to stay away from fatty foods as well as those that are high in calories. The basics of weight loss are losing more calories than you take in, so if you are taking in more calories it will be a lot harder for you. Also, foods that are high in sodium are ban because it makes you retain water weight which won’t help you out when you step on the scale.
You also want to make sure you exercise every day. Simply running outside or on a treadmill won’t help. Your body adapts quickly to cardio exercise so it is not as effective for weight loss over time. You need to add weight lifting and resistance training to your workouts. This will help you to build lean muscle tissue which burns fat. If you are a female, and you don’t want to get big and bulky, then you can still lift weights, just lift smaller weights and do more reps… that will get you tone.
